PAST LIFE REGRESSION THERAPY

What is Past Life Regression?

Past Life Regression uses hypnosis and deep relaxation to access memories, images, emotions and experiences from previous lifetimes.

I believe that we have lived before, and that experiences from those lives can sometimes continue to influence us in ways we don’t consciously understand.

For some people, what comes up in regression feels very clear and vivid. For others, it may feel more symbolic, almost as though the subconscious is using imagery or metaphor to help them understand something differently. Either way, the experience can offer insight into patterns, fears, relationships or emotions that feel significant in your life now.

Why Have Past Life Therapy?

Some people come simply because they are curious and want to explore who they may have been before, where they lived or what their life was like.

Others come because there is something they want to understand more deeply, such as an unexplained fear or phobia, a recurring relationship pattern, a strong emotional reaction, or a sense of familiarity with a person, place or period of history.

Regression can help uncover where those feelings or patterns may have begun and offer a deeper understanding of why they still feel so powerful now.

What if I can’t be hypnotised or don’t see anything?

This is one of the most common worries people have before a Past Life Regression session.

Hypnosis isn’t about being asleep or losing control. You’re aware throughout the session, you can hear me and respond to my questions, and you remain in control of what you say and do. You don’t need to reach some exceptionally deep state of hypnosis for regression to happen.

And you don’t necessarily have to “see” a past life as though you’re watching a film. Some people have very clear visual images, while others experience a sense of knowing, emotions, physical sensations, sounds, thoughts or impressions. There isn’t one correct way to experience a regression.

You also don’t have to make anything happen. I guide you through the process and ask questions based on what you experience, but the information comes from you.

What happens in a session?

We begin with a full consultation, looking at what has brought you to the session, anything you would particularly like to explore and some of the important people, relationships or themes in your current life.

You then lie fully clothed under a blanket on the couch while I guide you into deep relaxation and hypnosis.

During the regression, I guide you to a place where you are invited to open a door and notice what is there. From that point, you tell me what you can see, feel or experience, in your own words. I then ask questions based on what you tell me, helping you explore where you are, who is there and what is happening.

I don’t tell you what you should be seeing or lead you towards a particular person, place or experience. The details come from you, and my role is to help you explore them more fully.

The complete session lasting approximately 1.5–2 hours, with the regression taking 45-60 minutes.

My experience with Past Life Regression

Past Life Regression has been part of my work since I trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2008. In 2015, I completed further training as an Advanced Past Life Regression Therapist to deepen that work. I’m also a member of the Past Life Therapists Association (PLTA).

I still find regression fascinating because you never quite know where a session will lead. Someone may come wanting to explore a particular fear, phobia, relationship or simply out of curiosity, and the people, places, emotions and experiences that emerge can be incredibly detailed.

Often there are connections between what comes up in the regression and something the person is experiencing in their life now. Sometimes those connections are immediately obvious, and sometimes their meaning becomes clearer afterwards.

My role is to guide you through the experience, ask questions that help you explore what is unfolding and give you the time to understand what feels significant to you.

Sometimes a regression also brings someone to the realisation that what they want to change isn’t rooted in a past life at all. What comes up can highlight experiences, beliefs or patterns from this life that still need attention.

I’ve had clients come initially for Past Life Regression who have then gone on to work with me through hypnotherapy and coaching because they’ve recognised there is more they want to explore and change.
