Katie Palmer Hypnotherapy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions explain the arrangements for booking and receiving services from Katie Palmer Hypnotherapy.

Katie Palmer Hypnotherapy is operated by Katie Palmer, an independent hypnotherapist and coach based in Wokingham, Berkshire, United Kingdom.

My aim is to provide a professional, supportive and respectful environment where clients can explore personal challenges, develop greater self-belief and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Please read these terms before booking a paid service.

By confirming a booking or agreeing to begin a programme, you enter into an agreement for the services described in your booking confirmation, subject to your statutory rights.

2. Services

Katie Palmer Hypnotherapy provides hypnotherapy, coaching and complementary therapies.

Labyrinth

Labyrinth is a structured programme combining hypnotherapy and coaching, delivered over approximately three months, with a final online review session following the completion of the programme. It comprises eight sessions in total: an initial Foundation Session, six in-person sessions and a final online review session approximately one month after the main programme concludes.

The programme is designed as a complete experience, with sessions building upon the work undertaken together to support meaningful, lasting change.

Stepping Stone

Stepping Stone is a focused, individual experience comprising a Foundation Session, an extended one-to-one intensive session and a follow-up session.

Other Services

Individual hypnotherapy, Angelic Reiki and Past Life Regression sessions may also be available.

The content, duration and price of each service will be explained before booking.

3. Discovery Calls

A free Discovery Call provides an opportunity to discuss your circumstances, explore what you would like to achieve and consider whether working together would be appropriate.

There is no obligation to purchase a programme following a Discovery Call.

I may recommend an alternative approach or decline to offer a service where I believe it would not be appropriate for your individual circumstances.

4. Programme Fees and Payment Arrangements

Labyrinth

The total investment for Labyrinth is £1,500.

Clients may choose between two payment options.

Payment in full

£1,500 payable by bank transfer before the programme begins.

Monthly instalments

Three monthly payments of £500, with the first payment due before the programme begins and the remaining payments collected monthly through an agreed Stripe payment arrangement.

The total programme fee remains £1,500 regardless of the payment option selected.

Monthly payments are instalments towards the complete programme rather than separate monthly subscriptions.

The agreed payment schedule will be confirmed before the programme begins.

Stepping Stone

The total investment for Stepping Stone is £700.

Clients may choose between two payment options.

Payment in full

£700 payable by bank transfer before the programme begins.

Two instalments

An initial payment of £350 before the Foundation Session, followed by a second payment of £350 before the one-to-one intensive session.

Both instalments can be paid manually by bank transfer.

Other Services

Payment arrangements for other individual therapies will be confirmed when booking.

Where payment is required in advance, this will be clearly communicated before the appointment.

5. Appointments and Rescheduling

Appointments are arranged at mutually agreed times.

I respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Where more than 24 hours’ notice is provided, appointments can normally be rearranged without an additional charge.

Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply, taking account of the circumstances and any genuine losses resulting from the cancellation.

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to avoid affecting subsequent appointments.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, it may not be possible to proceed with the appointment.

I understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances occur and will consider these situations individually.

Any applicable cancellation charge will be explained and assessed fairly. Statutory cancellation rights take precedence where they apply.

6. Labyrinth Programme Commitment

Labyrinth is a complete programme, with the Foundation Session and six in-person sessions designed to take place over approximately three months. The final online review session takes place approximately once month later, allowing time to reflect on progress and consolidate the changes made.

By enrolling, clients are making a commitment to participate in the agreed programme and its scheduled sessions.

The programme is not offered as individual, interchangeable appointments.

Clients are encouraged to discuss any concerns about the process, their progress or the suitability of the work as soon as they arise.

Where appropriate, adjustments to the therapeutic approach may be discussed.

Missing or rearranging a session does not automatically reduce the overall programme fee, although cancellation charges, refunds and outstanding payments remain subject to these terms and applicable consumer law.

7. Exceptional Early Termination of Labyrinth

Occasionally, circumstances may arise where continuing the programme is no longer appropriate.

For example, a client may find that the therapeutic approach is unsuitable for their needs, or I may conclude that another form of support would be more appropriate.

In these circumstances, either party may raise concerns about continuing.

Where the therapeutic relationship needs to end early, the situation will be discussed sensitively and professionally.

Any refund or outstanding payment will be determined fairly, considering the services already provided, reasonable losses and applicable consumer rights.

Clients will not automatically be charged the full remaining programme balance regardless of the circumstances.

Where appropriate, alternative therapeutic or professional support may be suggested.

This provision is intended for exceptional circumstances. It does not create a routine trial period or automatic right to withdraw without consequence after the initial sessions.

Nothing in this section limits statutory cancellation or other consumer rights.

8. Cancelling a Programme

If you wish to cancel a programme, please contact me in writing as soon as possible.

Any applicable refund or outstanding payment will be assessed fairly, considering:

  • Services already provided.
  • Any preparation work properly included in the agreed service.
  • Reasonable losses arising from cancellation.
  • Costs reasonably avoided or recovered.
  • Your applicable statutory rights.

Payments already made will not automatically be treated as non-refundable.

Similarly, cancelling a recurring payment instruction does not, by itself, determine whether any contractual payment remains due.

Where a refund is payable, it will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe.

9. Statutory Cancellation Rights and Starting Your Programme

Where services are purchased through a qualifying online, telephone or other distance contract, clients will generally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period beginning the day after the contract is entered into.

You do not need to wait 14 days before beginning your programme.

Your programme can begin as soon as a mutually convenient appointment has been arranged and the agreed initial payment has been received.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply and you wish to begin your programme during the 14-day cancellation period, you will be asked to expressly confirm that you would like the services to begin on the agreed date.

If you subsequently exercise your statutory right to cancel during that period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided, where the relevant legal requirements have been met.

If a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, the statutory right to cancel may end where the required express request and acknowledgement have been obtained.

To exercise an applicable statutory cancellation right, please contact me by email at wellbeing@katiepalmer.co.uk. You may also use the statutory model cancellation form provided with your booking information.

Any refund required under the statutory cancellation rules will be made within the applicable legal timeframe.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Cancellations by Katie Palmer Hypnotherapy

Occasionally, appointments may need to be rearranged because of illness, emergencies or circumstances beyond my reasonable control.

Where possible, I will provide as much notice as reasonably practical.

If I need to cancel an appointment, an alternative date will be offered.

If an agreed service cannot be provided, or a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, an appropriate refund will be offered for services paid for but not delivered.

11. Client Responsibilities

Clients are asked to provide accurate information about relevant medical history, medication, personal circumstances and other matters that could affect the suitability of their sessions.

Please inform me if your circumstances change during our work together.

Hypnotherapy and coaching are collaborative processes. Clients are encouraged to participate openly and discuss any concerns about the sessions.

You remain responsible for your personal decisions and actions outside our work together.

12. Professional Responsibilities and Outcomes

I undertake to provide services with reasonable care and skill, using my professional training, experience and judgement.

Hypnotherapy and coaching can support personal development and changes in thinking, emotional responses and behaviour.

However, each individual’s circumstances and experiences are different, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Hypnotherapy and coaching are not substitutes for necessary medical diagnosis or treatment.

Where appropriate, clients may be advised to consult their GP or another suitably qualified healthcare professional.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Confidentiality and Privacy

Confidentiality is fundamental to my work.

Personal information shared during consultations and therapy sessions is treated confidentially, subject to applicable legal obligations and justified exceptions.

Information about how personal data is collected, processed, stored and retained is provided in my Privacy Policy.

14. Online Appointments

Where appointments take place online, clients are responsible for ensuring they have access to a suitable private location and a reliable internet connection.

If technical difficulties prevent a session from proceeding, arrangements for continuing or rescheduling will be discussed.

15. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, photographs, recordings and other materials on this website belong to Katie Palmer Hypnotherapy or are used with permission.

Website content is provided for general information and must not be reproduced or distributed commercially without prior written permission.

16. Complaints and Concerns

If you have concerns about any aspect of the service you receive, please contact me so we can discuss the matter.

I aim to respond to concerns fairly, respectfully and promptly.
